Me(me) is not impressed

Introduction: For this assignment we were required to photoshop a picture and add a different background to it. I contained the theme of my sorority for this assignment so for this assignment I took a picture of me and my suitemate and added us to a background inside the house. 

The Process:In order to complete this assignment I opened the photo in photoshop then used the quick selection tool to selection us then made the picture a smart photo. I then deleted the background and everything not selected behind us. Next I just simply added the background photo in behind us. 

Final Product: This is my final photoshop photo. I had a lot of issues with this project because in the initial photo we were outside, whereas the background is taken inside. So, it was very hard to make sure none of the flowers behind us showed.
