Swatch  Schemey  Photograph   This is my photograph as inspiration for my swatches. I used this photo because of the contrast that the sky has between the blues and pinks. Swatches This is my swatches that I created based on the image above. I used Indesign in order to make my swatches. One of the main things I learned while making my swatches was the fact that you can make custom colors by adjusting various things with the main color such as the blue, red, or green factors. Next I learned and used the individual color picker in order to create a new swatch.    Nameplate In order to make the name plates I first started by making one rectangle then copied and pasted the other two to insure all three nameplates were the same size. Next I went into my already made swatches and used those at the background and text.  Conclusion To conclude I learned a lot about how to make customize...

Instagrammish Before After Before After After Before My Filter:  For my filter I wanted to try it out on a range of photos so I used the sky, my dog, and my friend. For the actual filter itself I did not go crazy with the editing. I first adjusted the brightness and brought it up to about 13. Next I messed with the color balance and add brought the "highlights" on the blue up to a 10. After that I adjusted the levels and moved the RGB from 0 to 20. Lastly I added a warming filter (85) with the color royal blue and made the density about 20%.   What I Learned: I learned that the little adjustments make the most difference to the photos. Also you can over adjust the photos and make them look to edited which does not make them look good. 

Graphic Software Packages 8/29/19 Negative Space: This is using the element of Negative Space with the pleasing solid colors of the wall and shelf that contrast with the gold sparkle on the pineapple decoration.   Shapes: This is one of my favorite photos. I feel that this photo could be many elements such as patterns, however I labeled it as shapes due to the many circles that we see in the photo.   Lines : I labeled this photo as lines because of the many different lines that you see. The lines could either lead to the outside of the photo or to the center of the pineapple decoration. Point of View: I really find this picture interesting because you rarely ever see the top of a decoration, especially since mine is sitting on a high shelf.   Framing: I had to get creative with the way this photo was taken because the decoration was hard to frame.
